F.A.S.T.

F.A.S.T  takes place on the soccer field. F.A.S.T. is a functional approach to training your body in a fun Group Fitness format that will help you increase speed, flexibility, endurance; better balance, body composition and stress management!
Class tickets are $45 for 10.

Pilates Reformer

Pilates Reformer uses STOTT PILATES equipment with spring resistance to help tone, strenghten arms, legs and focus on torso stability. These exercises will put you on the right track to aligning and balancing your entire body.

Prairie Athletic Club offers exciting, top-notch classes that focus on long-term results for our members. 
If you're looking for something different, don't be shy, go for it! Check out the classes we offer and find one that suits you. Try one or two and see why so many people get such great results from PAC Fitness! 
The SPECIALTY CLASSES are included in Gold memberships. All other members may purchase class tickets at the front desk. Participants must have a class ticket to go to each class. The tickets are available at the front or back desk up to one hour before class. Class size is limited.


 

Group Fitness Class Descriptions

CXWORX is a 30 minute core class that will strengthen and tone your body while inspiring you to the next level of fitness. CXWORK really hones in on your torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body and lower body.

 

BodyPUMP is the world's most popular Group Fitness Program. It is a revolutionary weight training workout that strengthens, tones and defines every muscle in your body. Get strong, have fun and look great. Quite simply, BODYPUMP is the Fastest Way in the Universe to Get in Shape!  

 

BodyFLOW is a flowing blend of yoga, tai chi and Pilates. Participants build balance, coordination and core strength while lengthening muscles.  

 

BodySTEP is a simple, athletic workout that will shape and tone your entire lower body and push your fat burning systems into high gear. The group atmosphere is inspiring. The music and energy is addictive. You may have experienced a step class, but that doesn't mean you've experienced BodySTEP!

 

BodyCOMBAT is the empowering cardio work out where you are totally unleashed. This fierce program is inspired by the martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi and Muay Thai.

KICKBOXING is a high energy freestyle cardio class designed to keep you moving while punching and kicking those calories away. Some classes use boxing bags and targets to rev up your engine and burn even more caloires.
 

BodyJAM is cardio class to the latest sounds where you get lost in the sensation of dance. The emphasis is as much on having fun as breaking a sweat, BodyJAM is an addictive fusion of dance and aerobic moves. The blend includes the latest dance styles, together with the coolest sounds currently topping the charts. BodyJAM adds new meaning to the concept of having fun while getting fit.

 

BodyATTACK is an intense, sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. An interval training class combining high intensity aerobics, strength and stabilization exercises, it’s high in motivation, provided by dynamic instructors and exciting music.

 

BODY VIVE is a low-impact workout that lets participants choose how hard they work.  The 55-minute class uses the VIVE balls, VIVE tubes and optional hand-weights, to integrate aerobic exercise for heart fitness, resistance training for strength and stability, and stretching and mobility work. The class starts with a simple warm-up and continues with 'heart fitness' and 'functional strength' blocks with a final block of core and restorative exercises. BODY VIVE particularly caters to the follow markets: Low-impact seekers, pre- and postnatal mothers and anyone returning to exercise after injury. 

 

RPM/Cycling is a fun, athletic, cardiovascular cycling workout that kills calories in record time - up to 900 in a single class. It's a team cycling experience that incorporates the best of indoor cycling and motivational coaching techniques. And it's suited for any age and any fitness level.

 

PILATES uses exercises that focus on posture, body mechanics, correct breathing, spinal flexibility and core strength.    

 

YOGA is a combination of movements and yoga poses to strengthen and stretch the body, reduce stress and bring about conscious awareness. Yoga:Vinyasa is a very flowing style that is for all levels.  Yoga Express: Level 1 is for those new to Yoga or coming back to it. Yoga: Power is for those that have been taking Yoga for a while and are ready for the next level.  

 

TAE KWON DO teaches traditional martial arts discipline; a weaponless form of self-defense.

 
Note: Classes may be removed at the discretion of the director. All classes that have attendance lower than 15 people on a regular basis will be subject to cancelling on the next upcoming schedule. Schedules are revised every season including spring, summer, fall and winter.
