The Triathlon will take place on July 31 and will be open to children ages 6-13.  Participants will receive a T-shirt, race number and goody bag.  This race is designed to teach kid's about confidence without the pressure of too much competition.  The swim will be held in our indoor lap pool, while the bike and run will be outside on safe volunteered manned courses.

Ages 6-7
25 yard swim, 1K bike, 0.4K run

Ages 8-10
100 yard swim, 5K bike, 1K run

Ages 11-13
200 yard swim, 8K bike, 2K run

The fee is $30 per child with a USA Triathlon (USAT) membership (required).  Please sign up for the membership at www.usatriathlon.org.  The fee is $5 per year and goes to USAT.  No exceptions or refunds.
Partial proceeds will go to Meriter Pediatrics.

-Packet pick-up starts at 7 a.m.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION PARENTS NEED TO KNOW
-Mandatory meeting Friday, July 30 6:30 p.m.
-Kids must have a helmet to race
-Kids must be able to swim in water over their head
-Parents are not allowed to participate with their kids on the race course
-Parents not allowed in the Transition area after the race starts

Looking for volunteers to help keep the kid's safe on the triathlon route.  Must be able to monitor traffic, help an injuried or scare child and have good communication skills.  Must be 16 and older.  Volunteers will receive a T-shirt.  Please indicate if you are CPR certified.

VOLUNTEER MEETING WILL BE HELD AT 6:30 A.M. THE DAY OF RACE.
